Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 3 pounds cubed beef stew meat 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, minced 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 2 bay leaves
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 3 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 4 carrots, peeled and chopped 4 stalks celery, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch 2 teaspoons cold water 1 cup frozen peas
