Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Chili

If you like Buffalo wings, you'll love the flavors in this warm, hearty chili that comes together easily in the slow cooker. Sour cream helps cut the heat, but you could also use plain strained yogurt.

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 (15 ounce) can no-salt-added black beans, rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can no-salt-added chickpeas, rinsed
  • 1 (15 ounce) can no-salt-added diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can unsalted tomato sauce
  • ½ medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup unsalted chicken broth
  • ⅓ cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream (optional)
