Pork Chop Supper

Ingredients

  • 1 medium tart apple, cored
  • 2 (3/4 inch) thick bone-in pork chops
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup uncooked long grain rice 2 tablespoons chopped onion 3/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
  • 2 teaspoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
