- 1 medium tart apple, cored
- 2 (3/4 inch) thick bone-in pork chops
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, divided 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup uncooked long grain rice 2 tablespoons chopped onion 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules
- 2 teaspoons butter or margarine, melted
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
