Pork and Veggie Saute

Quick sauté of pork strips with seasonal vegetables and light seasoning. A healthy, fast weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger root
  • 1/2 pound pork tenderloin, cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 teaspoons canola oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms 1/2 cup julienned sweet red pepper
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced celery 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons honey hot cooked rice
