Multigrain Chia Waffles
These multigrain waffles are super filling, with ingredients like chia seeds and flax to add extra fiber. My kids love these waffles with chocolate chips!
Ingredients

- 1 ¾ cups almond milk
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ¼ cups whole wheat flour
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¼ cup flax seed meal
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons white sugar, or more to taste
- ¼ teaspoon salt (optional)
