- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter , softened
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 2 teaspoons lime zest
- 5 large eggs
- 1 cup whole or 2% milk

- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk , to consistency
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
