Cape Breton Pork Pies

Mini meat pies hailing from Nova Scotia, traditionally made during the holidays, filled with seasoned pork and warm spices.

  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 1/4 cups confectioners' sugar 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon maple extract
